I got all the insurance info from the guy that hit me and took the car to the shop for an estimate.
My fear is that the shop said they can only claim the one light and when I get the new one the colors won't match. They suggested that I try to convice the guys insurance company to spring for the whole set of lights....and added "good luck." I know these guys at the shop and they were not being jerks, just matter of fact.

Anyone been in this position, any advice is welcomed.

You'll need some leverage - maybe walk into the other guy's insurance office wearing a neck brace otherwise like your shop guys said "good luck".

get the highest estimate you can, then have them cut you a check and order them yourself like sunset and get the whole set. you live in oregon so you might not get a out of state deal, but you cna order from atlanta porsche dealer and the will give you the same discount, let them know its out of state mail order for your discount.

Sell the used good ones on eBay or this list. You should get at least half the cost of new lights, then you'll have all new at a reasonable price.

I bought new lights from Sunset for $300- outsides only. Center is still mismatched.
