Here's the link for the book. I've just realised that it is being sold by Ninemeister on eBay.

Hi, you could try Japan. I recently acquired a nice low mileage 964 from this guy http://www.performancelegends.co.uk/...php?page=stock

Japanese soured Porsches are always LHD and with the dry climate pretty much rust free.

I'm off with him friday to pick up an RS from the docks.

True enough, I may try that, thanks for the suggestion.

By the way, was it difficult to get the paperwork done to import the car into the UK?

Paperwork is pretty easy in the UK. For EU sourced cars you just send the local country reg docs and bill of sale to our licencing dept(DVLA). For non EU cars as long as they are 'type approved' ie; the car was actually sold in the country... which it was - same procedure.

Roadsleeper, went over to the docks today to drop a friend off to pick up the RS a 1992... Got to say its mint. Gaurds red, grey/black interior with something like 40,000 klms 24,000 miles. Went directly to the workshop and on a ramp - spotless underneath no rust, scrapes, oil leaks or shunt damage. I know its not on the right continent for you but illustrates how good the condition of cars are that come out of Japan.. and cheap!.

If it's Bryn's car it's worth reading his comments on PCGB 964 RS forum.

Yup, there's only one.

That is, unless you count the rest of the team in Warrington who make it all happen, rather than the one who just talks about it on the internet !

Regarding the 964RS book (which contains an excellent 8-page RS tuning guide by that Ninemeister chap), you can also order one by calling 01925 242342 or emailing christine@ninemeister.com, Chris is our office manager. We take all major credit cards (apart from Amex).

Awesome to hear it! I was in Japan a few weeks bag, and it's amazing to see the number of just plain vanilla 964s and 993s running around there... they are just so well maintained it's unbelievable!

Ha ha, thanks for the reply. I may be in the UK sometime soon and would love to drop by the Ninemeister shop.
