You will need the decklid for it as well. You are only getting the spoiler.

I got an RSA (factory) wing as well for my 1990 C2 and I was informed that the wing will not install on the stock decklid....Many shops have told me so..........

Luckily mine came with the RSA decklid as well............

I will still have to modify the hinges or get adapters.. as all the shops have stated......there are various forms of hinge shapes on the 964's......from my understanding......

The RSA spoiler actually fits the pre-964 decklid since the spoiler shape was originally designed for that era car. It is really a 3.2 Carrera spoiler without the spot to mount a rear wiper. Porsche simply made angle brackets to adapt the early decklid to the 964 chassis. Bracket is cad plated part below.

It looks to be a real RSA tail due to no wiper bung. Any early deck lid would mount it with the proper adapters. The adapters were body color painted on all the RSA's. Its nice to know you can still source them via Porsche Parts.

My only bad part is that my RSA wing & decklid that I bought is red and I need to get mine painted Grand Prix White.

Go figure that a white tail is now for sale....

Buy the white one and sell the red one if it works out cheaper than paying to have the red one painted. Someone with a red car will be happier that way too!

I would have to unbolt it from the decklid which is painted red as well. If I got the white wing, I would still have to paint the decklid Grand Prix White anyway.

I got a quote from BodyMotion in NJ to have the decklid and wing painted and mounted/installed for approx $900.00. Also there is a small dent that needs to be corrected on the decklid. The previous owner put a dent on top of the decklid by accident (by where it says RS America)....
