Precautionary emergency front trunk ingress- what I recommend:
You may have read that I got locked out my trunk. It was the lever- thankfully I guess. I removed the whole assembly and with some effort it opened.
Apparently the ‘93 has the 993 type emergency fender ingress. I will check both the ‘90 and ‘92 to see if they are the same, but even if they are this is the second time this has happened (my 993 handle broke) and its rarely at a good time. Try on the way to the airport with luggage incl. passport inside- nice.
As most people keep their tools in the trunk- the same trunk that you want to get into, I will keep the Allen key and screwdriver that I need in the glove box for the next time. :

This time it was sitting in my garage so much less stressful than the first- trust me.
I'd picked up the car ('96 C4S) in Tulsa and headed to West Palm Beach where the car gets loaded in container and sent over by boat. . I stopped in Kissammee outsside Orlando for the night before. The next day I was going to take a leisurely drive to WPB but . . .
In Kissammee the handle broke with everything important in the trunk- so I got back in the car drove to WPB and went to delaer the next day who sorted me out. I made the drop off, raced to the airport and heaved a big sigh of relief. It was a great drive for the first 1200 miles but the last 200 or so- not so nice.

Drifting
Flew from Sacto to NY last year to get my latest 911 and the last 20 minutes of the flight were pretty interesting due to high winds, especially as we were landing, you could feel the pilot fighting the crosswinds. Was very pleased to get off that plane. Two hours later La Guardia was closed because of the wind.
Isn't it fun what we go thru for our passions.

This last trip was to deliver the car from Atl to WPB- uneventful until I got the car here.
Oddly enough though, both trips ended in broken trunk handles.
So I'm taking measures on both C2's (the C4S is gone). It would be a hassle (and embarrassment) unneeded to go to a tech inspection after 4-6 hr drive somewhere and have the trunk release blow up
