Hello comrades.
Its been a while. The C4 has just kept on going, rock solid daily driver, and just I havent needed any Rennlist love for a while..

Anyway - got a big split in my front driveshaft gaiter where the shaft attaches to the front differential. Looks like simply half a dozen allen bolts to remove the inboard end, but not sure whether it will move enough to allow me to change the gaiter - the shaft is kind of boxed in by the wishbone underneath.

Do I need to get the whole driveshaft off to do this? Any tips greatly appreciated..

EDIT - OK, found a better way to search for this. 'CV joint boot' has come up trumps on the search. Thanks anyway..
