Curious if anyone has weighed a factory 964 primary muffler, secondary muffler and catalytic? It would be nice to know the weights to help decide what to remove or replace

- but from memory (rough #'s)
Primary is 25-30
Cat is 10-15
Secondary - 15-20

best bet's
replace Cat - less weight actual pwr
replace primary with bypass - large weight savings
use the seconday only.

or
Delete Cat
use primary
Delete Seconday
this config gives the best pwr from what i have seen - however it is heavier

my prefered config (yet to be dyno'd)

Delete Cat
modify primary (open and remove everything - add perferated straight pipe) should save 10lbs or so
delete seconday
Add cup primary to Tip (G- Pipe w/ built in tip)

I didn't see the cat in that survey so here's the weights I have
964 cat 13#
left side header 12#
right side header 16#

36.75mm tubes
X-over 64.9x33.5mm

Secondary Muffler 462

weighed mine when I took them off and both primary and secondary weighed 22lbs 4oz. I remember because I was suprised they both weighed the same.
