Eighth Annual Oulton RS Day 2008...

....has been confirmed for Saturday March 15, 2008.

Cost will be IRO £199.

Porsches only. Bookings will be opened up to other cars one month before the day -so this is a great oppurtunity to make it TOTALLY PORSCHE!!!

Will advize when bookings open on the 'net.

Can I suggest the traditional Chinese after the event, on the Saturday night, so we can relax!!

I don't think you need to worry about opening it up to non-porsches. Demand is going to be very high from what I've seen already.

I won't be on track myself (as I'm still awaiting my 964 purchase, hopefully will be sorted before the 15th March ) but will be attending of course just to see the marvel that is 60 P cars hammering round my favourite track !!

Hope to meet a few of you there too and put some faces to names etc.

What spec are you looking for Mike? I'm sure I saw a black C2 for sale in Manchester on Pistonheads and know of a black C4 for sale (but not advertised yet) near Stockport.

Looking for C2 Man / C4 must be coupe. Black/white/red/slate grey, no leaks, ideally a rebuild etc. etc. I think someone put me in touch with one guy from Manchester with a black C4? was the guy's name Fraser ?

I'm going to look at a Slate Grey '91 C4 at the weekend if the guy has it in by then. Looks good and has most of the right bits on it. No rebuild, but has had all oil lines replaced within the last few thousand miles, and has had the clutch done too. Fingers crossed Steve, this may be the one ?

Yes Mike, Fraser is the one with the black C4. I've no idea if the other chap (Jasonny on the PCGB) looked at it.

Cheers Steve, I'll let people know if it goes well. From memory Fraser's seemed like a nice car from the little detail he sent through - but I think he was asking too much for it for me if I remember correctly.
