It was a pleasure to take you and Paul (Polar964) round for a few laps . Oulton Park is IMO one of the great tracks in Britain. Not fast due to the relatively short straights (only possible to nudge 100 mph in a couple of places in mine) but very exhilerating due the closeness of the armco and the elevation changes.

p.s. I denigh all responsibility for giving you both the trackday bug

Cheers Paul, it can only be me! I'll get the official photographers pics when they are available and post them up.

Is that Asbi's (Pub Landlord face needed like when mentioning the continent) Ferrari.....yellow RS. Off Speed Yellow - he was never confused. Looks like Pauls blue RS 993 as well.

Another good day missed then.

Indeed it was Kevin's RS. That car is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside

Russ

Will you be joining in on the RS day at Oulton March 08?

Not purely for RS's but hopefully pure pork.

Keep an eye on the PCGB forum for info

Just got some pics back from the track day photographer

Oulton is often referred to as a mini Nurburgring. You can see some of the similarities....

Looking back towards Druids you can see a car in the dip - it's great fun there because you're just back on full power but the car will momentarily lose traction as it goes light

Keeping the younger generation in their place

964Russ who started this thread takes his first steps towards trackday addiction by coming for a ride in the passenger seat
