Anyone have a "before and after" driving impression for a conversion from power to manual steering?

I did it a few years back when my p/s rack gave up and the cost was the same. The overall feel is better with the manual rack. Parking is much heavier but I don't do that very often. Normal driving isn't heavier, and you don't even think about it after a couple of days. On track the manual rack takes a bit more effort, especially in long sweeping turns. But it's not a problem and as said, the feel is better.
I wouldn't spend the money though if your p/s rack is working. Spend the money on other mods until it's time for a change.

I often go out back-to-back between the RSA and 993. And come back much more tired in the RSA. I've previously posted more specifically if you want to search.

Just drive a pre-964 car and you can experience it for yourself. I really enjoy it, especially on track where you can really feel the understeer.
