I bought the car at 100,000 miles with a fresh engine reseal.
4 1/2 years later the car is at 130,000 miles and running as strong as ever.
Porsche built an amazing car.

1989 C2. 260k kilometres but the engine was overhauled in 1995 at 130k...it was the old 964 engine leaking oil like hell ! The Gmund wizzards decided in 1989 not to use seals
because of the perfect engineering... wrong !

Not sure what my mileage was when I initially voted in the poll but as of today my 89 C4 has 161k miles and still going strong on a virgin motor (did I just jinx myself as I knock on my head?) She burns about 1qt of oil every 600-750 miles. Hope to see a few fellow 964 owners at Rennsport Reunion this coming weekend.

Mine has 150.500 km, engine works perfect, I change every seal so it doesn't lose oil. I had a little problem with oil pressure light, but was the oil pressure sender..
I'm running 10W60, in 1000 km it doesn´t burn any!!!, with 5W40 I had to refill every 1000 km 1/2-1 Litre..

Burning Brakes
125 k km (around 80k mi)... Running BP 20w-50 in the summer and burn about 1L per 1000 km. Plenty of short trips as the island is small, very small. And I work her rather hard redlining a few times per trip.
Very limited track usage (like last weekend).

106,000 miles on a March 1990 C4. Original engine but seriously ready for work to plug the leaks. No smoking exhaust just lots of drips
I can't believe how many cars there are still out there with less than 50k on them after 20 years. I've done around 4000 miles in the 14 months since I bought it and it's basically just a toy for sunny days and playing in.

Just shy of 129k on original engine AND clutch. Still life in the clutch (based on pedal feel and tech's evaluation a month ago during routine maintenance). Car came with extensive service records and once out of original warranty always looked after by highly regarded NorCal indie's.
Average of three runs on Dynojet approx 300 miles ago:
277 BHP (236rwhp/227rwt). Only mod is a "G" pipe.
Leakdown at 127k = 1-6% 2-6% 3-9% 4-5% 5-5% 6-9%

The car now lives with me here in Ory-gun.
The previous owner used RMG in Sunnyvale, CA and T&D Performance in Campbell, CA.
I've heard good things about The Stable on this board and on Pelican.
