I have three keys right now - 1 in mahogany, 2 in oak. they were both spoken for, but I've not heard back for a couple of days. I'll give these guys a few more days then I'll let then all go to the next folks in line.

I should be making more soon.

Birds eye is on the list - though my birds eye is not all that well figured and getting good figure on an item this small is not very likely in any event. Still, maple, and birds eye in particular, makes for a nice piece.

I won't be doing any more oak. I've had a tool fabricated to help make this all possible and the tool failed on the oak! Hard stuff, that oak. So, if you have any interest in oak, now's the time.

I'm working to get a new tool made and will get back to work as soon as I do.

Are these too expensive? I understand that it is quite a bit of money for a key, but the materials and effort involved hardly makes it worth my time as a profitable endeavor.

Anyone try something similar with a 3D printer? Very cool, but agree they're a tad expensive.
