Gus - I may take you up on that.
As it stands now, I've already built the interface (on a breadboard) and just recieved the cable. I'm going to attempt to get this one that I just built to work - but if all else fails, I'll be giving you a jingle.

Phil - the cable I have has the board or board built into it - so all you have to do is down load the program - plug the cable into your computer (PC) ID the com port - plug the cable into the 964 diagnostic port - and run the program. you will have access to the diagnostic codes and can clear/ reset and pull live readings and current values etc etc etc

I never could get Scantool to run on Vista. It works great on XP and W2000

Gus - I sent you an email. The cable/box project I have been working on doesn't work. I'm interested in the one you have.

I am still working on mine. When perfected, it will transmit the information directly to my brain rather than emitting codes.

Nice. Let me know how that works out. Are you injecting the signals directly into the prefrontal cortex?

Yes, here's an update -

Ricardo and I are putting the final package together for another 20. Stay tuned and I will post a page where we will be collecting deposits for that round. (deposits help us defray the development cost) We want to be able to build a complete package, so there are a couple of details to chase before we're ready. This should go live next week.

Thanks.

Is Ricardo's dream iPhone Scantool app still in progress?
