Question How to remove rear panel/deck

Hi,
I'm trying to install the baby car seat anchor but I can't remove the rear deck (or rear panel, whatever is called).
There were 4 screws and they're out and I thought all I had to do is pull up (like in my old SC) but to my surprise the panel is frozen in there...
Are there any bolts I have to remove underneath the speakers? or is there anything else holding it ?

Thanks
Jasper

When I pulled mine out, that's all I had to do to get it loose. To totally pull it out, you have to unbolt the seat belts where they mount to the frame, but it should come loose without unbolting the seat belts.

Can you tell where it is hanging? Can you work a small pry bar around the edges?

Thanks Marc,
So all you do is full the panel forward eh? And no vertical tongue (I call it like that) holding that part?
And what about the anchors in your car? Where did you buy them? The local Porsche dealership sent me to the VW parts dept. and in there the guys are not too sure what they sold me will fit.

I'm waiting for the dealership to get the covers and its been two weeks...

Thanks

Mine came with them - someone (Bates, IIRC) posted a DIY about adding anchors.
