Anthony,

What is the difference? By our cars do you mean C4 models?

You can see in your picture that the BK part sticks out further than the factory part. I tried and still have the BK pieces and when I went to fit them the extra distance with the bolt stuck out so far it lodged itself into the carpet midway back and almost tore the carpet.

If you use the BK side supports they are heavy but made of Stainless and very sturdy. You can actually drill out the proper size for the seat bolt and use a backer plate weld it in place and save some money. It is a bit tricky to get right with the limited clearance but can be made to work. Just use a nut and lock washer with original hardware.

Did you ever install the standard sliders you referenced in your first post? Did they lower the seat anymore than the stock sliders? thanks

Yeah I want to know this too. Want to get 996 GT3 seats over Pole Positions, because I am too tall for the Pole Positions.

But if I can't mount the 996 GT3 seats low enough, what's the point, right?

Anthony
Did the GT3 seat center with the steering wheel or is it slightly off center?

I have GT2's in my 964 but have only driven it about 100 miles and didn't notice. Don't have access to the car now so don't know if they are centered or not. I have a 72 911 we are working on and have another set of gt2's for that build but having a hard time getting them centered even with some custom brackets. Looking at the 72 situation tomorrow.
