Ooh, I can drive it there then!
Had to collect my Supra from it's service today, and we went in the 964 because I wanted the mechanic to take a quick look at it - I am planning to take it there for a service in May (although not a specialist he has worked on them before).
This meant my g/f had to drive the 964 back - she's driven it a couple of times but only the 5 miles or so to work. So, we start off with her saying she's really nervous and me repeatedly telling her it's very easy to drive.
About 30s after joining the M3, we are doing 80mph. Five minutes later, we are doing 90mph.
On the M25 I told her to keep the speed to 80mph because of the cameras. After the M40 junction, I told her there were no more cameras. Straight up to 90mph again. Shortly after that we are accelerating fairly quickly and I am saying "please try to keep below 100mph". She "just wanted to see what going quickly felt like" (apparently, it felt good).
It was very nice watching my own car on the way back - it really is lovely.
When we got back, she wanted to drive it again, and I made it clear it is not a daily driver and she is not going to start using it for work. However - when I said it needs servicing in May, she said "Oh good, I can drive it there.... er, I mean you can relax and I don't mind driving it......".
Think it might be time to start hiding the keys. She is a bit annoyed that the handling problem on the Supra has been cured, and I'm now saying I don't want a second 911!

My GF thinks I should teach her how to drive a stick. Of course she thinks I should use the Turbo for the lessons
You have made a big mistake
