Question about Value 1990 C2
Hello all,
Just had a quick question to ask you all. I will be insuring my car this year with Hagerty Insurance (New Jersey) (Agreed upon Value) and I was wondering what I should insure it for. It is a 1990 all original C2 Carrera with 35,000 miles, in excellent condition, white with dark dark red interior, heated seats, sunroof, 5 speed with an OEM RSA tail.
I have seen similar cars for sale now in the price range between $17,000.00 to $26,500.00. Should I just insure it in-between these amounts?
What would be a realistic price for my undamaged car if I had to replace it with the same?
Thanks again for your input. And YES...I am going to start to drive it a lot more. I hate waiting for warmer weather to arrive even though I am sure that the car likes cooler weather.

The coverage on a limited use policy is cheap compared to daily driver insurance so don't scrimp and give yourself plenty of room. With my coverage any value over $30,000 required an appraisal so I used $30,000 to avoid this hassel. Not far from what your car is worth if it is mint as described either.

Now that we are back up North (New Jersey) I will start to drive it more.
I was always under the idea that if you ever sell an exotic or muscle car, low mileage undamaged will always prevail more $$$$. (if you ever had to sell)

Low milage is always a plus. If it had 2,000, 10,000 or 20,000 miles some would say that is too low and may be prone to problems down the road but another guy would step up and pay a premium for it. More people than not will pay a premium for low miles. My car only has 54,000 on it.
