Default C-2 Cams

Is there any difference between C-2 cams over C-4 cams?

no, the engines are the same M64/01 (manual) and M64/02 (tip). The cams in the M64/03 (RS) engines are different in that they do not have the drive on the end of the 4-5-6 bank to drive the power steering.

Default Thanks

I am kind off puzzled I bought a 1992 C-4 that was converted to a turbo. In the paper work it says that they installed C-2 cams but I still have power sterring.
Maybe it's a typo on the engine builders part.

Thanks.......again..........

Elgin sells a custom cam called the "Super C2 cam". Its just a little wilder than the stock cam. That cam is designed to drive the power steering on 4-5-6. Maybe thats what you have?

You can buy 964 cams without the PS drive. A machine shop can fabricate one....done it many times when putting 964 cams into 3.3 engines.
