i'm finally getting around to some other winter projects. persistent problem with fuel pump not running. i have checked the fuses, and changed out the dme relay to no avail. the problem is this-- the fuel pump will run if i jump as suggested in adrians book, but no go when plug in the relay. i was wondering if this could be due to the alarm system (under the seat). is there any way of bypassing this to see if this is the problem??? if this is not it it, it could be in the ecu. i have nick's version of the scantool device, but have not fired it up yet. the problem is that the car only runs if the dme is jumped---is it possible to diagnose anything in this situation???? any help appreciated-----------tom
