What is the difference between these part numbers?

964.606.153.00 and 993.606.153.00? Are they basically the same thing?

its the lateral acceleration sensor.

probably should be the same, but the 993 part supersedes the 964 part.

Is the newer part number more desirable or does it matter? Thanks

Most times, you can't even get the old part; hence the superseded clause. :p
