No reserve, that's ballzy. That car's worth at least 12-15k in parts. I'm putting my 535i on eBay in a week or so for $1 no reserve.

That looks pretty clean for 270K. Are you sure its not a scam?

I thought the same thing which is one of the reasons I posted it up here, to see if anyone else had any info or knew the car.

Very tempting to buy as a parts or track car -- too bad it has a sunroof.

Looks very good for that many miles. Must have been a highway car, which is to say that I would prefer that over a city car.

Can someone tell me why the trunk looks like that? Is that the way all 964 trunks look like?

"Nothing spells money like a Carrara 4"(sic)

Ah, the irony. Sums the whole ad up, don't it?

The trunk looks like that as the moquette carpet trunk liner is missing.

Ok, so my first post here is bad sarcastic wit. That's a real great start.

I bought mine in Rochester Hills Michigan, about 25 miles from Flint. There were also 3 others at the time, in the Detroit area, I looked at. (a 2 coupes and a cab)

It does look like a decent car from the pictures. Would be a nice project if it goes for cheap.

Carfax shows the car to be two owners. If I copied and pasted the report (it's very short) would I be breaking any rules? Oh.. it also says something about a collision with a tree back in 93. Hmmm.

I need to get my lingo straight. When I owned a 1974 TR6 a couple years ago, I somehow was able to make the distinction, but the trouble I have now is that the 911's engine is where the trunk should be. Or is that the bonnet? Please tell me which is called which and why
