My 91 Cab has arrived
Well, after 1 1/2 year seach I found my car. The good thing is that it did not take 2 years like the last one.
91 Cab Tripple black, 5 speed and only 38k miles.
I bought the car from a gentlemen in Florida, sight unseen. I saw the multiple pics of the car. Had suncoast Porsche do the PPI and check every body panel and nook and cranny of the car. Never been repainted, no accidents.
I thought my 89 964 C4 was flawless. This car tops it. I am sure as I go through the car 100% I will find a few things, but overall I am very happy.
I used TFX out of Toronto to deliver. Enclosed trailer. These guys are 100% top notch. White glove service, the care they take to pick the car up, strapping it down to droppoing it off is second to none.
Here are a few pics of it being delivered. I have many plans for this car. Little by little.
Yes I know there is no carrera 2 on the tail. The PO hit it with a buffer. Did not bother me since it will be getting completely stripped for a widebody and new tail.

Brrrr... look at all that snow!!
That's a beautiful car and looks like the transporter took good care of it - had to get that shabby NSX out of the way first, eh?

Congrats on the new toy! Looks like you already have a lot of plans for it

hahahaha ^^^^^ The NSX was wow. Not my cup of tea. But it was spottles.
There was a 996 TT, Bentley GT which was dropped of before my car to Todd Bertuzzi (Hockey player). New silver convertible vette and an old Fiat, very nice.
The car went from trailer to garage, no salt for this one. Snow is melting away, How crappy. We are finaly hitting single digits, so bye bye snow by weeks end.
I was not excited one bit till I saw the car pull off the trailer, I had no idea what to expect. But someone was looking out for me.

Thanks for the compliments.
I really wanted a C2 convertible widebody. I am going to supercharge it also. ^^^^.Something I have really wanted to do for a long time. I was not 100% happy with my 89 C4 coupe. I loved the car but I could not turn it into what I wanted too like this one.
I love the 965 but its a hard top. I know I wouldn't be 100% happy.
Ps. Just gave it the first bath today. I am suprised that there are only a couple of stone chips. After going over it thoroughly. Paint is amazing. Interior is really nice as well. Just gave it a quick vacuum. I need new mats because it doesn't have any and it needs lots of leather conditioner to get the seats real soft again. The seat are in awesome shape though. I figure 4 or 5 coats of leather conditioner will do.
