There's one for sale on ebay that although has no warranty, doesn't look too bad....

Daking,
I corresponded with a fellow that had RUF put a used 993 motor in his 964. He kept his stock exhaust. This is just an idea to open up more options b/c sometimes the 964 engines leak.
Here's what he had to say about the 964 to 993 engine transplant. Good luck.
"Doing the 993 motor was about $10k total for me, $5k for the motor and $5k for labor and stuff…I think I had a few other things done at the same time but not much.
It’s pretty much the same engine actually. I spun a rod bearing in the original 964 motor and it was cheaper to get the 993 motor installed than it was to rebuild the 964. Ruf found the 993 motor for me and put it in. I think a lot of the gain from 964 -> 993 was in the exhaust, and mine still has the stock 964 exhaust, so I didn’t notice a big difference in power or noise or anything. Maybe a bit more power, but not much. Ruf told me it was pretty much a drop-in replacement except for a few minor things (oil cooler line had a different fitting and I think they had to tap out one hole for the exhaust mounting). I don’t have any leaks but it does seem to use about as much oil as a typical air-cooled Porsche does. No more or less than the original though.
Anyway, so in your case unless you’re having problems with your 964 motor I wouldn’t do it just to do it, it’s not going to gain you that much, but it’s certainly a viable option if you are getting ready to do a rebuild or something."
