Like many things, these items have an application. My nephew uses something similar on turbocharged snowmobiles however he has no illusions about longevity. The water and/or methenol injection does reduce detonation.
Me...I'd go with tried and true Porsche engine management systems. One can rebuild a snowmobile engine in a day for $1,000. Porsche's...not so easy.
