Default Does anyone have a picture of the orginal roof rack for the 964?

Reason I'm asking is that the manual says you can transport a load of 75 kg on the roof with the original system and only 35 kg with an aftermarket solution. I would like to know the differences...

So, anyone?

I've seen that one, but it is incomplete. I'm mostly interested in how it was attached to the roof and that is just the part that is missing... One would assume that it would use the rain gutters, but if it does, why would the original system be able to hold 75 kg and the generic system only 35 kg?

I have a roof rack based on Thule gutter mount bars.

It was used to carry wheels and tires to the track. I am guessing the weight of all was probably well over 100 lbs.

BTW, the rack is for sale if interested. Too many kid activities to go to the track right now.

I have the Thule gutter mount bars + skiholders to transport skis from hotel to skislope. However, no I have these and I'm seeing the possibilities... Maybe a roofbox? But then: a roofbox + rack will weight in excess of 15 kg. So you could then transport only say 15 kg in the box. That is not much (although I would alway put the lightest stuff on top).

While searching on the forum I've seen that many transport tires on the roof. That will be over 50 kg I reckon. So I feel confident that it is possible, but I would like to be more sure...

Other question: how fast can you go with a load on the roof without compromising safety too much?
