I've tried this site before John, and it is so far off the ball it's unreal, for example. It has my 964 down as a dec 93 manufacturing date......really..perhaps I should insure it for more...

I know the DVLA tends to put manuf. dates as the end of the relevant year if they haven't bothered to input the full data...

My manufacture data is only a little out - it was registered in October 89, but according to that date it wasn't actually built until December 89.
