New Radio Install Help
I am trying to replace my Std Radio, a CDS-2 w/ a Blaupunkt Bermuda MP 36.
I would like to find a wiring harness that would not necessitate cutting the original harness. If not, how can I identify the wires of the current harness? Also I would like info regarding the original system, what’s under the passenger seat?
Anyone know where I can get a proper wiring diagram?

I believe you can by harness adaptors that will plug into your existing harness and connect direct to your new stereo.
Under the passenger seat is the Amp - which is probably almost as old as you. Assuming you are LHD anyway - otherwise, it's the DME.
A wiring diagram is in the official manual.

Thank you for the post, could not find a wiring adapter so I ran new wires from the new radio to the now disconnected pre-amp and tied into the speaker wire there, connected the door wires together,
if I want to go back to original radio it is all still there and usable. Too much work!
