Default Bike rack on a targa?

Not much in the archives for this... Sometimes the places I goto bike (trail and onroad) are awesome roads to get to, so I'd love to take the p-car instead of the jeep.
But.. how do you get a bike rack (anywhere? rear mount I'm guessing) on a targa?

Spurred my interest as I just picked this up today -

Cheers,

The only way I can imagine is to take off the wheels and put the frame in the cabin - but only works if you don't want to take passengers.

I can't see how you could fix a bike rack to the rear unless it was one of those that fix onto a towbar.

Unless you have rain gutters, which you don't have, I don't think anything from Thule or Yakima will fit. There are options to fit a small tow bar and then fit a rack to that, but that's going to mean cutting the rear bumper.

You can't even put a rack on the rear engine cover because the pop up spoiler!

Meant to post other links....

The Thule and Yakima sites both allow you to pick the type of car you're driving and you'll get a choice of racks that will fit the car.

Some are rain gutter types (that won't work for you, obviously), but there are others towing hitch/receiver types.
Do they make a towing hitch for a 911? Probably not a very ascetically pleasing solution.

I did see a link some months ago which showed a bike rack which mounted via a metal plate that attached behind the license plate.
Looked interesting.

I'm looking for a similar solution to get my road bike around.
