RS America on SF Craigslist
Came across this one last night, replied to the email and (obviously) didn't hear anything back.
http://www.craigslist.org/sfc/car/164428496.html
Pictures could be of either/both of mine!
Oh well.......anyway, does this sound familiar to anyone else?
Ken (and yes details of both of mine among other things everyone else has in their signatures, including Rennlist membership # would show up if the guys who run this thing would pay attention to my requests to fix the ^%$## function)

And to follow up on the point of the post, this came to me a little while ago:
Hi,
Thank you for your email.
93 RS America VIN# WP0AB2961RS419090 (stock #45682). Grand Prix red with black seatbelts and door pulls. Interior is original except for the stereo and is in excellent condition except for light rubbing on the bolster of the drivers seat. Body is super straight with no dings. Never wrecked. Odometer shows 55,000 miles total but most parts are new. Factory options include: Limited slip differential, air conditioning, sunroof and AM/FM cassette - upgraded to Alpine AM/FM CD player with MB Quartz speakers. Upgrades include: Original RS America engine case upgraded to 3.8 liter using new Mahle pistons and cylinders. Intake upgraded to Porsche factory Varioram. Heads ported and polished with RSR spec valves. European RS cams. Motec M48 engine management system. B and B stainless steel headers and exhaust with removable custom made cats. RSR style front oil cooler. Only 300 miles on motor. All put together by one of the best Porsche road and race shops in the world. Built for hi pro street use but very capable at the track. Never raced. Transmission has 8:32 ring and pinion and close ratio gears with short shift kit. Suspension is new PSS9 Bilstein with Kinesis K28 18” wheels and brand new Michelin PS2 tires. Corner balanced and aligned. This vehicle is perfectly sound, no known defects. Very impressive car! Needs nothing but a new home!
Odometer reads 55,000 highway miles and it's accurate.
It runs and drives very good. All components are in good working order. One look at this Grand Prix, and it's obvious that it was very well maintained by its previous owner and should provide you with many more miles of carefree driving! Buy this vehicle, and like its original owner, you will want to treat it as a prized possession. This vehicle is listed in eBay.com and we reserve the right to delete our ad early if the car is sold. (location deleted)
Buy it now price: $2,999.00
We do not accept cashiers check. We accept Money Order, Wire Transfer and PayPal. Buyer will pay all the shipping fees. This vehicle is ready to be shiped. We are working with the SBG Auto Transport. If you can not follow these terms of sale please do not contact us back.
If you agree to buy this vehicle please email us back to arrange the payment.
(Rest of email with "contact info" deleted.)

Sun roof. ugh. Not a true coupe. My own perspective, but there is little reason to pay a premium for a RSA with a sunroof. A nicely sorted C2 or C4 for lesser dollars is a better option.

Well it's pretty obvious what's going on, and throwing together a few buzz words and aftermarket pieces will pique the curiousity. So I'm not sure what point there is dissecting the respresentation. I was mainly curious to see where all the "car" would pop up.
And as much as we would like, we can't wander on into the '90-'94 964 store and cruise off the lot with the specification of our dreams. Anyone here in the market when the things were new? I'd like to know what percentage of non-sunroof cars (the few which were actually built) survived the racing, and remain with us 12+ years later.
