Indycam, I have factory speakers (2 fronts and 2 rears). If the make and model of the speakers are important I will need to find out what they are.
I do not have an amp right now, but by reading all the posts it is obvious I need one. Presumeably I will need to get one that matches the factory speakers.
Yes, I am wiring it up without an amp to see if the head unit works. I got the unit from eBay and would like to know if it works.
Thanks for the help.

The speakers you have or are going to have relates to what amp you might be looking for .
That head unit might be far better than the stock speakers . Silk dress on a pig .

If you do that and you get zero out of the speakers ? Does it work or is it broken ?
If you do that and it busts the head unit ?
A speaker and an amp are not the same thing , I would not do what you are thinking of doing .
Hooking things up where they are not ment to be is a good way of letting the smoke out of parts .
I'm not at all sure it will be trouble and I'm not sure it will not .

Indycam, thanks for the advice. It looks this DIY is over my head and it is best that I take it to a pro to sort it out.
Thanks once again to all.

chewg,
Here is a site that you can download a Service Manual for the MB75 for $10.00. It may be worth it. The site appears to be Chinese. They take credit cards, however I don't know about security.
