Something tells me you've never driven an RS
To be honest - it's not that difficult to explain. I have no doubt whatsoever that an RS is a very involving car, handles amazingly, feels very raw etc. etc. But - it's basically a track car you can use on the road and that's not what I want. If I wanted a car that I just used on the track, an RS would be top of the list.
But - that's not why I bought the 964. I like the handling, I like the performance - but I also like the electric windows, the fact that I have door handles not straps, the ABS, the sunroof etc. etc.
If somebody offered to swap my 964 for an RS tomorrow the answer would be no (if we ignore the fact that I could immediately sell the RS for a profit). I have no doubt it's entirely capable - but it doesn't fulfill my requirements.
