Hollow spoke wheels are developed from the original turbo wheels for the 993. The hollow spoke centres are spun welded onto the rims using some kind of proprietary technology and are lighter and stronger than the solid spoke wheels....but more expensive.

reviving an old thread for some ideas...

Are your arches flared as opposed to rolled, if so for clearance? It's something I've pondered about.

Since everyone else is posting non-stock yet non-aftermarket

Here's my 964 with Porsche 17" Turbo Twists (Kumho V700) and Weltmeister 18" wheels (Bridgestone Potenza)

I was originally looking for Cup1s, like most people, but couldn't find any at a reasonable price...

I instead chose Cup4 rims from TireRack. Shipped to my door, the total cost of the rims and tires (Sumitomo HTR Z III), plus balancing was less then $1100! It was a perfect fit and now I'm glad I chose something other than a Cup1. Fits the R Gruppe theme I'm going for.

Front - 17 x 7.5 / 52mm offset
Weight: 23.4lbs. (TireRack weight)

Rear - 17 x 9 / 47mm offset
Weight: 24.4lbs.

18" but not quite sure what make they are.... got them off ebay

I think they are

be careful with potholes as they are quite soft

No need for rolling/flaring if they're the Ruf's made for 964 running moderate sizes - I'm running 255/40 as an example - and very low.
