Default Replacing handbrake lever!!

Has anyone replaced their handbrake lever easily, or is it a specialist type job, I'm up for learning, but don't want to make my car inoperable!!

I've done a few searches on here and have got some ideas that it's possible to just change it without causing any issues, has anyone ot any experience.......?

Oh and this is what I'm changing to......

I am pretty sure the 993 hand brake is the same setup...
Here is a DIY: http://p-car.com/diy/handbrake/index.html

I've had the console off but never had to remove the hand brake. Console R/R isn't bad at all... and you don't need to remove it to do the handbrake!

Yes it is the same and very straightforward if a bit of a PITA. I recall a thread about it, I'll add it if I come across it...

I'll shoot this over to the DIY section, as well.

Hey Jerry, thanks for the comments, the car came lowered as it is, it's basically RS suspension i.e. KONI adjustable shocks and lowered springs, but it's been like that since day one I believe. As for the parts, I got them from www.fvd.de and I'm sure they have other colours on request and are very good in servicing your needs and at a reasonable price too!!

I'll post a finished car article soon as it's nearly done.

Thanks again.

My next project is coming soon and oh it's a beauty!!
