your assessment of the mechanical condition of the vehicle (1-10, 10 being highest): thought it was a 9, turned out to be a 3 - The seller owed his mechanic, a "reputable" exotics garage, $11,300.00 at time of purchase for top end, then bottom end, plus A/C, clutch and DME replacement. Car didn't even make it the 140 mi. to my home. Nut left off starter cable, nut left loose on clutch slave, plus a number of other shoddily done items. Broke a valve 4 months later and tore up a cylinder. Obviously the valves and guides weren't properly addressed.

altarchsa, Yeah, plus I got a great "easy payment plan" from the friend I purchased it from.
I really have had to sink a bit of money into it (massive oil leaks, new clutch, etc.) But I have a GREAT mechanic, and it's slowly becoming my car.
It's a daily driver for me in LA, so it's gotta be good to handle all the traffic....
