I was looking at the longer range retail prices of our cars. The stats came from about 7,000 vehicles that were offered for sale dating from 5 years ago (60 months) to current. The data below shows the average price of a model versus how many months ago. So the first column is current retail prices, the second column shows 10 months ago, third column are prices fromm 30 months ago....
Interesting is the price of Turbos appears to be trending up, and the price of other models is trending a bit down, but fairly flat compared to other types of cars.

I've put on 5K trouble-free, wonderfully enjoyable miles, until the immobilizer/central locking went south last week; now at mechanic for yearly oil/filter change and hopefully repair of immobilizer/central locking.
