Yes, I paid dearly, but almost paid more in the end for my supposedly "mint" 1992 C2 with all the service and repairs needed. I paid for a PPI and got screwed, had to repair hidden rust, bad leaks, brakes, shifter bushings, too many other things to list. Now I have a "new" 1989 car that cost over $60,000 in 1989's money, which is over $100,000 in today's money.

Sounds like a sweet car once everything is sorted out... the cars that sit are the ones that tend to have a lot of niggling little issues (occasionally some big ones) but when they are taken care of you have a veritable time capsule!

Great, tight car, that passed a very extensive PPI, as is neccessary for a modified turbo. I definitely feel I got a good value, and had been looking for a lower mileage 964 turbo for a lilttle while.
