Both pretty close. Much easier to find a nice 993 for reasonable money. Not so with the 964.
The 964 turbo 3.6 trumps the 993TT by almost double but the 3.3lT is about the same maybe a little less than the 993 turbos on average. I haven't seen a 993TT top $150k my friends 993TT with 23k miles sold on BaT in near perfect condition low miles for $140+5%
Not sure about the current market but a bunch of 993TT have sold for over $150k. Low mileage, original examples still command upper 100k I believe.
It just shows you how screwy the market is. There were two TT's on BaT that I had first hand knowledge of and IMO were better cars than some of these and brought a lot less but I have my theory to why. It seems 993TT's are all over the place but it just takes two egos to inflate the price of a car at auction. Although these prices were 2017 auctions.

^^^ my only concern about the engine work is they seem to have used the head studs over which is a no no. They are stretch to yield and should only be used once.

A/C converted to R-134 but has a leak. Rebuild required at some point (est. Nov 2018) as broken head stud on cyl 6 during PPI and valve adjustment.
