964 Prices

Just picked up a 93 RS with 21k miles for 35k ... Was not advertised and is set up for track. Turbo brakes front and rear, midnight blue ... Didn't come with all original parts and has been upgraded to a 3.8 litre 700 miles ago at cost of 17.5 k to previous owner. Should be fun and price seems fair.

Apologizes for being MIA. Family matters are still ongoing but I finally managed to get some time to do stuff that is a bit more recreational. The spreadsheet has been updated accordingly.

Hi all,
When I seriously started looking for a good 964 sometime ago, I thought the starting price was around $25k. What I thought was good at $25k just wasn't so. There was always something wrong($$$) after spending a fortune in PPIs. I've been searching for some time now and have had some opportunities slip by for 964s or so it seems. Now, I would hazard to guess that the starting price for a good 964 begins around $30k. I should add that you can find a targa or cab for less than $30k, but a good coupe is always $32k+ from what I've seen. The $32k cars tend to be over 100k miles while lower mileage coupes go for much more. I've got one lined up now that has 118k miles and a resealed engine that is going for $32k. I may have to pull the trigger on this one before it gets away.
If anyone knows of a good 964 coupe for sale, please shoot me an email. I believe I'll have to make my decision by 3/10/14

I am very happy to call myself a 964 owner now.
Saturday last weekend I bought my car from a very nice fellow rennlister in Calgary.
After 1100 miles the car still runs prestine.
It was not listed for sale, has 103k miles, with a engine completely rebuild around 40k ago.
For me the most interesting important things are that it is a manual C2 Coupé with LSD and ALL around original paint.
The price corresponds to what user JV44HeinzBar wrote.

Let me know if you get one. I have a turbo look widebody '94 that I bought with engine rebuilt at 80K, now has 123K and I bought it at 118K. Small leak but most do, not a problem. The paint is not all original, but much of it is. I'm sure you can find one.

Anyone on here see the sub 100k mile red/black 1989 C4 that was on Craigslist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It was listed for $18.5. The listing was up for 2 days and then gone....I was ready to send the $ to a friend nearby to buy the car for me. I left a few voice messages on the number (405) 414 4883 but never got a response.
Looks like someone scored.
