Anthony when someone asks to buy it I would just tell them you paid a fortune for it and that it would take a huge some of money to consider selling it and give them some outlandish number. That will stop the conversation quickly and let you move past to actually talking about the car and their interest in Porsche.

I just wave them off but some are quite persistent. I told one guy $350k; he laughed. I told him he doesn't know his Porsche's and sped off .

Well said. Talking about how much they're worth can quickly take the air out of any fun conversation about these cars. This reminds me of Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack.

Last summer I had someone pull up next to me in traffic and ask how much I would sell my cab for. Since I have more in to it than its worth I told him I would need around $40k before I would let it go. He got all pissed off. Next time I will just say its not for sale and leave it at that.

Finally took delivery of my 1994 C4 Wide Body with 16,455 original miles. Long drive from Miami to Savannah. Had to stop for BBQ on the way in St. Simon Island. 😂
