Today I had somebody who came over to show his 3.3T which he is selling, probably the finest I've ever seen, 43.000 km, full immaculate leather and new clutch. I just love those sexy curves.

I bought a splitter from Rennspeed but was not happy with the fit or finish so never installed it. I think I will get a TechArt next winter.

Mark,

I had the same one on my car "splitter" took me a bit to make it fit perfect. I took my time trimming it out and then did some prep work to the splitter to get it just right.

I agree that its a pita to install. The key is to put a trim piece between the splitter and body work. Same as the rubber gasket along the side of your car works perfectly.

I think a splitter really adds a modern flare too the car and all 964's need it.

Hey Christian, quick question about your spacers. I always tought that spacers with studs, had to be 1" or more in order to have the nuts holding the spacer sit flush with the spacer. On your picture, I can clearly see the nut pertruding, so how those the wheel sit on the spacer?? I discussed this issue with Vertex regarding a set of 15mm spacers and even their tech guy didn't know what to tell me beside cutting my original studs and getting half nut........

Thanks

Some of the later offset Porsche wheels have space between the lug holes that allow those prutruding nuts to fit into. That is the way the set of Turbo Twists that I just looked at are. I would check to see if other wheels are the same way. If you are going to seriously track the car though, I'll use the spacers alone, and get longer wheel studs.

Thanks Larry!!

My mechanic had a set of 28 mm sitting on the shelf and tried them on. The original studs were sitting flush with the spacer but the spcer-studs were too short for the Kinesis. Anyhow 28 mm was too much for my wheels. We estimated that no more then 15mm was needed.

All this is not a must have but simply to create a perfect stance and avoid futur rubbing when I'll put track tires.

Thanks
