I love that Benz... how has it been as far as maintenance? Is it as extreme as having to get simple parts fab'd for it, or are parts pretty readily available?

If I had that car, I'd slip on a Panama hat and grab a Monte Cristo, put on some Cuban jazz, and I'm gone....

I have had it for 15 or so years. Parts are readly available yet can be a bit pricy. Chrome parts are not something you want to have to buy. Things like the red tail lights that were only on 63-64 cars can go for as much as $500 EACH USED! Motor is straight 6 with mechanical fuel injection. I will post a picture of the motor tomorrow. From what I have heard Nissan used the motor as a model for the early Z cars. Compared to the C2 its a dream to work on. I am having problems with the injection pump thermostat. This little piece is going for $1200. I found instructions on taking it apart and ungumming it. Hope that works. Mine is a euro model that has a bit more power then the USA model. Surprisingly quick. Its a very high rever and sounds like a sports car should. Oh yea no TIP for this car ! 4 speed.
