Not the exhaust kind.
I had the engine cover up the other day was kneeling down having a look around when the engine lid came down and those 2 spikes smacked me right on top of my head.
I really did see stars I'm now on my back on the brink of passing out and next doors bloody cats walks up.
paw prints on the roof and lid. it had jumped of the roof onto the engine cover
nice big lump on my head thanks kitty.

When I was a lad the first time I saw a 911 up close was when Perry McCarthy (at the time a sometime F1 driver) turned up at a mates house in new burgundy porker – mates cat then ambled outside and proceeded to chase a fly about, said fly then landed in the middle of the bonnet – cat then jumped at it, claws out…missed the fly and slid down the front of the car. Not a happy sound, but the damage wasn’t too bad fortunately.

Reminds me of a story....
My neighbor had a lovely calico cat, loved that thing. I had a Great Dane named Butch. One day I found Butch in the back yard tossing somthing up in the air, catching it in his mouth, having a ball... you can guess what it used to be. I felt HORRIBLE to say the least, got the corpse away from him and cleaned it up, even shampooed the fur and dried it. That night I slipped over to my neighbors porch and layed her out on the lounge, hoping they would just figure it died in its sleep as it really cleaned up nice! Guess it worked as a couple weeks went by and got no knocks on my door.
Had a block BBQ and of course the "cat" neighbors were invited. In passing the guy says "Strangest thing. Did you know our cat died a couple weeks ago"? I responded with a sad "no, sorry to hear it". "well, that isn't the odd part... what is REALLY strange is that we buried the cat out in the woods and the next day found her on our porch all cleaned up!"
Ok, so its an old joke, and it's supposed to be a rabbit.. sue me.

I have a little story. A close friend of mine has 3 Porsches which he's had since new, a 86 944T, 94 964T, 01 996T.. He keeps all these in a storage building behind the office. He found mice droppings under the hood of the 944 one day, went in the office and someone said why don't you get a few cats, that'll keep the mice at bay. A couple weeks went by after he had the cats and he was pulling into the building with the pickup and noticed the 964 (beautiful black turbo w/17,000mi) has something that looked like dust all over it. White cat fur. Turns out the cats decided the roof was THE vantage look out spot or something. The car was a tad too slippery for them to just climb up on... He spent $500 getting the scratches out of it Good bye cats....

I once went away on holiday for a week (not in the 964 - Shame on me!) and accidentally shut next door's cat in the garage with the Porsche...
It made a sort of 'nest' of dust, cloths and all sorts of detritus on the front lid.
Fortunately, they heard it after a couple of days and my parents came to let it out. After they called me, I asked my dad if the car looked OK. 'Oh, yes' he said, 'There didn't seem to be anything that I could spot'. Yeah, right...
