Hi everyone,

As promised, here are the first pics of my new 911. It's a 1971 911T/RS clone with a 2.2 and Zenith carbs. Other than the RS fiberglass body pieces, it's pretty much stock but it will go thru some major upgrades/reconstructions as it will become my dedicated DE/track car.

PS - After spending hours driving her home, I've finally realized how much the 964 have evolved! :)

Beautiful car! My fiancee's step-dad has a 71T and it's amazing to feel the difference when you jump into that thing after driving my 964! Those older 911s feel like go-carts! I just wish they'd put in the 2.4s in 71 instead of 72.;) Enjoy!

Beautiful! I normally don't like the duck tail but it "fits" on that car!

Congratulations!! Beautiful looking car!

I need to find a local owner willing to let me drive a car of that year. I always hear comments like yours on how different they feel compared to the 964/993 and wish I could experience it for my self. I have always wanted a RS or RSR looking 911....

Sweet sweet looking car. Enjoy it and keep us posted in the transformation.

Thank you guys for the nice compliments.

So far, I've been very impressed by this 34 year old car. Although the interior amenities are far from the 964, the driving characteristics are almost the same. However, because it lacks modern technologies (ABS, power steering, power brakes, etc) it does require more driver's concentration and input. To me, this 911 is as "RAW" as it gets! ;)
