I am after a lower/stiffer ride but, more importantly, less understeer and body roll at the track. I drive 80% street, 20% track (but plan to do more track next summer for sure) so also don't want a teeth cattering ride either.

I guess if the sway bar is easy to add and an alignment after is not needed, I can add the coilovers, get the alignment and early next summer see how it is at my first track adventure - then, if it is not right yet then I can add the sway bar before the second track foray.

Hawk... Great pics! Sounds like an interesting project! My first thought after seeing your first pic was that it really didn't look out out of place. Maybe it's because you have a darker car. Perhaps it sticks out more on white cars?

BUT... after seeing the "after" pictures.. it looks likes that is where it was supposed to be all along!

Looking Good!

Rick, thanks. I love the way the car got slammed. I know it's only about 2 inches, but the car seems so much shorter when I stand next to it. My son just loves the way it turned out too; he's into tuner cars, but he may be giving them up for REAL performance cars. That's what the P in P-car is for, isn't it?

Thanks for all the tips, guys. Every time I go into my garage I have a set of Koni Yellows and Eibach springs looking at me. Winter is kicking in here now aswell, time to get into gear.

Kris, take some good before and after pics for the group, and measure; I forgot the before measurement part.

No problem; I got a deal from fellow Rennlister Ronnie on the springs, $150; ImagineAuto for the shocks/struts $700, and $40 for the pizza after Rob's help with the installation.

total, $900 usd.
