I Got One!
First, thanks to everyone here who helped me through the process. Your solid suggestions and thought-out comments were instrumental in helping me make the decision to buy a 964.
I'm happy to say I now own a '91 C4 coupe. Got it from a private owner in Toledo...'48k miles, 5-speed for $29,500. Now, after a nice 700-mile bonding trip home, my Amazon Green Metalliac baby is awaiting her first bath in the driveway.
I've got a few questions already, so please see my other posts, and thanks again.

It ended up that I got it before you after all, but congratulations none the less!
Its quite different being on the ownership side of things, isn't it?
Hope the new purchase goes well.
