finally got one!!!
hi to everyone,
thanks to snoops for putting me on to this site.
as you all heard i've just bought my first 911.
its a 1991 (H) LHD 156,000 klms.FSH.red/black leather.
17 inch cups.Has been lowered by last owner.
and it aint sunk in yet!!!. The car is in great condition, i mean the previous owners really looked after it, it seems.
Its got a couple of things i need to sort but for the price its a gift.
I had a couple of questions but after reading some of the q and a's. i think they are covered for now.
By the way i/ve been in the Bodyshop/Paintshop game for about 10 years so if you have any q's feel free.
HEY SNOOPS HOWS 'BLUE'
Thanks to melissa for advice.

Hi Jotz,
Congratulations on your purchase. When did you buy it? I just bought mine on Friday 10/08 and, like you, it hasn't quite sunk in yet!!
I too have bought LHD, a 964 C2 to be precise.
Welcome to the board, this is where I have practically learnt ALL my Porsche knowledge from. There are some great people out there!
Enjoy your purchase, will you be joining PCGB at all?
Regards

Hi, Jotz!
Congratulations -- it sounds like you got yourself a fine automobile!! It's already lowered and has 17" wheels -- that's awesome, because sooner or later you'd probably do those mods yourself.
Welcome to the board -- feel free to ask any questions or relate your new 911 experiences.

Hi Jotz,
I think that Porsche Club GB has regular meetings every so often, depending on what region of the country you are in. In fact, this weekend there is an unofficial 964 concours in Richmond (in Ham House). I won't go, seeind as my 964 is not insured yet and I am not a member either (yet).
We could, however, have some other smaller scale Rennlist board UK metting?
Let me know your thoughts.
