Chav is more simply explained as "Council Housed, and Vulgar".....
Says it all really....
In Scotland they are called Neds - "Non Educated Deliquents"......

It looks like Chav's are the equivalent ot "Tuners" over here in California. Take a honda and make it sound like an overpowered riding mower. Loost baggy clothing, and lots of gold chains. Lowered seats, fully reclined. You get the picture!

The Queen's English, gotta love it. No wonder you guys get so much tail over here--you could probably call a girl a ***** right to her face and she'd think it was a compliment because of the way you'd say it
Hard to believe we even speak the same language--you would be appalled at how some people over here butcher it.

UPDATE - Just swapped the airbox back to original and did DME reset - 90% cured. Still there very infrequently, but much, much improved. But also seems worse after idling at lights ets. What could cause that?!

No problem with the idle, it's just that after the car has been idling happily and i pull away - that's when there is sometime a lack of power, kicks back in quick enough, but it is there.....

You didn't pull off any vacuum hoses whilst you were a fiddling????? have a feel to see if anything is amiss, There is a hose that goes to a cylinder behind the airbox, maybe its come adrift?
