pre-purchase 964 question
 

I am in the market for a 964 and thanks to this website I know about the common problems for this car ie. flywheel, dist vent etc. Most of the cars I have been finding have 80-100K miles on them. Is there anything I should specifically look out for on cars with higher mileage? Anyone know of a good shop in LA to get a ppi?

If anyone has doubts as to the potential damage a dist belt breaking, look at the latest Pano. I would certainly make sure that the a0 the vent kit is in place, and b0 that the belt has been replaced if it had been run any distance w/o the vent. BTW, the new belts are much more resistant to ozone.

How long does it take to replace a distributor vent? What's involved? :p
