Foglight (Missing the obvious??)
Hello all.
My passenger side foglight is out, so I need to pull the foglight and see if it's the bulb or something else. I have removed what I thought were two screws holding the lamp in, but it does not loosen and will not pull out with a fair amount of pressure. The manual, of course, does not show much.
What do I need to do to remove the lamp? Am I missing something obvious? I don't want to do something silly and have to buy another foglight.
Thanks,
Ron

Hi Ron,
Perhaps the lens is just sticky? I recently replaced one of my fog lamp bulbs using the instructions of page 112 of the owner's manual with no problem.
Best of luck!

Thanks! In my rush to try and figure out how to replace the bulb, I forgot about the owner's manual. Well, they say that no question is a stupid question, but sometimes it feels like it.
You can bet that I'll be sure to check the owner's manual first from now on.
Sorry for wasting the bandwidth!

No problem! Actually, you're not the first person to overlook detail such as this in the owner's manual.
Did the owner's manual instructions work for you, now that you know where to look?

Yes, it worked. It took a little bit of prying, but it snapped loose. Now I understand how the foglights go together.
And, yes, it was the bulb that was burnt out.
Thanks again,
Ron
