Thumbs up Headlight brag.

Last evening, I finished replacing my H-5s with H-1's. Running only 2 55w on each side, but it is the difference between night & day! (pun intended)

Question

A fellow named Mike e-mailled me privately re a ? about H-1, I sent him a long note in reply, but the e-mail somehow is undeliverable. Mike if you read this, you might post me again, give me an e-mail address I can use. BTW a source for H-1's (nobody has any) is rick at www.rennsporttulsa.com- a good, friendly small company.

quite honestly, the H-4's are nearly as good, and cheaper. With the H-1s, there are two halogen bulbs in each light, any you can fit any wattage for either. There are two reflectors in each light, and they are each separately adjustable. I also like the diffraction pattern of the lens better than the other choices. In a word, the advantage is complete flexability to tailor your lighting to your preferences.

Hi,

Can you guys give more details. Are you talking about just bulb replacement or the entire headlight unit. Where do you buy, how much does it cost etc.

Just curious.

I've always been a sucker for a nice set of headlights, but normally I prefer OEM units to aftermarket.

Not long after I bought my 911, I shopped around for upgrades, and let someone talk me into getting h5's instead of h4's. Arrgg!

Rob, do you still have the H4's? I would like to take them. Are the lenses in good shape, and will you sell the bezels too?
Let me know,
Von
