Hi Adrian,

Thought you might like to see pix of the new engine in my '87 Carrera. They are posted on the 911 board (in two places . . . I messed up).

Joyous Noel

Thumbs up

Richard:

Pretty cool. If you think you love your 3.6 now, wait until you hit the track with it!

What are your subjective thoughts so far comparing your 3.2 with your 3.6?

Jon,

LOTS of torque and, of course, more hp. The car revs faster (lightweight flywheel) and the redline is approx 7000rpm (for now I'm trying not to go over 6700), which seems like a heartbeat (maybe two) to achieve!

I haven't messed with the gearing, but 0-60 feels faster, maybe by as much as .5 sec or slightly more than that.

I hope it doesn't snow here anytime soon, although the forecast is calling for a "white christmas".
